Ingredients:
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeos optional
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup guacamole
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions:
Mix the paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl
Apply this mixture to the flank steak that has been thinly sliced on both sides
In a skillet set over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil
Slices of steak that have been seasoned should be added and cooked for two to three minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired
Before slicing it into thin strips, take it off the heat and give it a few minutes to rest
Set the oven temperature to 175C 350F
Arrange the tortilla chips in an ovenproof dish or on a baking sheet
Arrange the steak slices evenly on top of the tortilla chips
Over the steak and chips, scatter shredded cheddar cheese
Bake for five to seven minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is bubbling and melted
After taking the nachos out of the oven, garnish them with sliced jalapeos, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and diced red onion, if preferred
Along with sides of salsa, guacamole, and sour cream, serve the nachos hot
