Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- For Peanut Butter Glaze:
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl
In a different bowl, mix the peanut butter, egg, mashed banana, and buttermilk with a whisk
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed
Warm up your waffle iron and use non-stick spray to lightly coat it
Follow the makers directions and pour the waffle batter onto the hot waffle iron
Cook until golden brown and crisp
Add powdered sugar, peanut butter, and milk to a bowl and whisk them together until smooth
Do this while the waffles are cooking
Put some of the peanut butter glaze on top of the Peanut Butter-Banana Waffles before serving
